Beat maker, vinyl collector, musician, otaku, and live performer.
My mission is to create music that people are inspired by.
Music that people feel in their hearts.
Hear in their dreams.
How it started :
Where I am today :
I began producing music after playing guitar in an after-school Math band during high school. I had always been very interested in computers, and with my new found love of music, I began making my own. After years of messing around and creating IDM (Intelligent Dance Music), I realized it wasn’t for me.
Slowly but surely, my focus shifted towards hip hop. I began experimenting with lofihiphop, boom bap, and other sample based forms of music. I try to bring it back to basics, spending hours scouring vinyl racks, and honing my instrument playing skills in order to create less electronic sounds.
Staying true to LoFi hiphop history, I rock out on a SP 404 with only the most genuine rhythms.
Today, I am not only a producer, but also a performer. I want to be the bridge between producers and artists, showing that we don't have to be separate.
In order to build community among Brooklyn artists, I established the Brooklyn Beat Syndicate. Catch our monthly shows around Brooklyn showcasing some of the hottest talents.
